I am a California-licensed psychologist with experience spanning psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and medical-legal evaluations. Based in Pasadena, I bring a broad clinical background to my work with individuals and couples experiencing psychological challenges and to my evaluation work within California's workers' compensation system.
I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding the thoughts and behaviors that keep us feeling stuck. Together, we will explore the patterns you want to change, the benefits and barriers associated with change, and the possible outcomes of taking a different approach.
My therapeutic work is individualized rather than formulaic. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with other therapeutic approaches as appropriate, recognizing that each person brings a different history, set of challenges, and goals to treatment.
My clinical interests include life transitions, depression, anxiety, anger, ADHD, personality-related difficulties, and longstanding relational patterns. My experience also includes working with trauma and complex family dynamics.
My practice brings together clinical care, psychological assessment, and professional evaluation, with an emphasis on understanding complex concerns and communicating findings clearly. I do my best to "demystify the process" to help you understand what to expect, including negative and positive outcomes.
